Hanwha’s meaningful record in the last game of Daejeon Stadium

The professional baseball Hanwha Eagles set a meaningful record for the first time in their last game at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon.

According to the Hanwha team on the 29th, all 12,000 tickets for the final game of the season against the NC Dinos at Hanwha Life Eagles Park were sold.

As a result, Hanwha recorded a cumulative audience of 804,204 this season, surpassing 800,000 spectators in one season for the first time since its foundation in 1986.

The number of games sold out this season has also increased to 47, further increasing the number of games held in a single season in the Korean pro baseball league. The previous record was 36 set by the Samsung Lions in 1995.

Hanwha will say goodbye to Hanwha Life Eagles Park after the game, and play a home game at Baseball Dream Park, a new stadium, starting next season.

Hanwha Life Eagles Park, which opened in 1964 and has been in its 60th year, is the oldest stadium among the 10 KBO League teams.

Daejeon Baseball Dream Park, which is being built on the site of the Hanbat Stadium in Busa-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon, is an open natural grass field that can accommodate 20,000 people. 안전놀이터
