GamCare prepares to launch revolutionary Safer Gambling Standard at ICE London

GamCare, a leading provider of information, advice, and support for the prevention and treatment of problem gambling, will use ICE London (5-7, February, ExCeL London, UK) this year as a platform for releasing safer gambling standards. The new timeline begins to recognize gambling operators who meet and exceed the requirements of the gambling industry code of conduct and consists of a 12-principle group of social responsibilities across online, athletics, and B2C operations.

Expanding his decision to officially launch GamCare, the world’s largest gaming technology event, Mike Kenward, director of development, explained: “Ice London is the heart of the industry and where conversations about consumer protection and customer wellbeing need to take place. We will be announcing the full rollout of our new standards in consumer protection zones where operators need to move forward to focus on protecting their customers and keeping their businesses afloat.”

“If businesses don’t protect their customers, their customers will go somewhere where they are protected,” Kenward continued. “There has never been a better time for companies to focus on their processes, and we hope that the industry will embrace safer gambling standards because it’s not only the right thing to do from an ethical standpoint, but it’s the right thing to do from a business standpoint.

“We’ll already be successfully trialling several operators before ICE London, but we’d like to make an official launch from Consumer Protection Zones to talk to people about the purpose of the standard, why they should be involved in it and what we ultimately mean for consumers. ICE London is undoubtedly the right place to launch new standards that change the game, and we’re looking forward to highlighting those operators that have already seen positive effects when we announce this in February.”

The extensive new certification is designed to review policies and procedures, digital interaction, governance and culture with employees across the company, as well as customers faced by team members. “In order for responsible gambling measures to be effective, it is essential to be integrated into organizational culture and flow across the organization. Our new standard focuses on the totality of our operations, from board members and directors to the front lines. This standard is a chronology that integrates the experience of our service users, the vast level of evidence and industry research gathered across numerous disciplines, as well as our multi-year experience working across the sector of GamCare.”

“To support the new standards, we are emphasizing the importance of providing comprehensive gambling-related training to individuals and organizations. We are looking forward to talking to operators about our training programs and how the money we earn through training and the sale of safer gambling standards is used to support our philanthropy and reward causes that are very relevant to the industry.”온라인카지노
