Stanley’s 93rd anniversary with a charitable donation

Macao casino magnate Stanley Ho Hung Sun (pictured) celebrated his 93rd birthday on Tuesday. Ho and his family celebrated by donating HK$2 million (W258,000) to the Hong Kong Community Chest of Korea charity fund.

Ho is the founder and chairman of SJM Holdings Ltd., a Macau-based casino operator. He is also the father of Pansy Ho Chiu King, co-chairman of the Macau-based casino company MGM China Holdings Ltd, and Lawrence Ho Yau Lung, CEO and co-chairman of Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd., one of Macau’s six casino operators.

The entrepreneur has five children with Angela Leung, executive director of SJM Holdings, a fourth consortium. Ho has 17 children out of four women in total.

Ho retired from day-to-day management at SJM Holdings after injuring his head in a home accident in mid-2009. 바카라사이트 추천

A non-generationalist, he is often nicknamed the “King of gambling.” This means that he had a 40-year monopoly in the Macau casino industry until 2002, before the government liberalized it. He is also interested in games in Portugal.
